Our pack pads, saddle pads and blankets are chosen with two criteria in mind; durability and suitability. As you know, saddle pads are kinda like neckties. There are a jillion different styles and patterns available. What we've done is narrow the field down to what works in the field and ignored all the pretty colors and other geegaws. So... here ya' go.
These pack pads are 1" thick wool felt covered with quilted canvas. They come in tan or hunter orange. They are 44" x 30".

These saddle pads are plain uncovered 1" thick wool felt pads. They come in sizes 30" x 30", 32" x 32", & 30" x 30" round.
These saddle pads are plain uncovered 1" thick 100% wool felt pads. They come in sizes 30" x 30", 32" x 32", & 30" x 30" round.
These saddle blankets are a heavy acrylic double weave blanket. They measure 32" x 64". They come in colors: Grey/Black, Sand/Black/White, and Sand/Brown/Rust. Be kind to your animal! These saddle blankets are great for use with a pad; either as a double under fold, or as an over/under wrap. Be kind to yourself! A couple of these under your bedroll will do ya' wonders.
Friends, we've listed a few good pads here. Due to space limitations, it is not practical for us to try to stock every pad for every occasion.
